We dedicate this site to the memory of, and
in appreciation of:
Paul W. Crayton, Sr. Mr. Crayton started Crayton and Company
in 1950. His vision and guidance established the groundwork
for this successful, well respected
company. Mr. Crayton believed all successful people have a
responsibility to help others by
being involved and volunteering one's time and talents wherever the
opportunity presents itself. He
also believed life was to be enjoyed and lived to the fullest.
Floyd A. Smith. Floyd was a superintendent with Crayton and
Company from 1965 to 2005. He truly cared for, and was
quick to offer, a helping hand to
others. Floyd was a friend to many and a stranger to none.
Helen Phillips. Helen
was a receptionist and bookkeeper
with Crayton and Company for many years. She was not just
a loyal employee but a great friend
and person. She is missed.
Davis Lindsey. Davis kept our jobsites spotless and
material delivered on time for many years. He was an expert at his
job. They don't make them like
Davis any more.
